Dietician Approved (Free!) Meal Program
Breakfast: Milk; egg-free breakfast-bread {contains quinoia, oatmeal, wheat bran [or other grain bran], zucchini, fresh fruit [usually bananas and/or apples], unbleached or whole wheat flour, and a little bit of sugar}; fresh fruit; and (sugar-free) cereal with milk.
Lunches: All lunches include fresh fruit, yogurt, and milk. Meals are subject to change, with dietician approved additions. So far we have four popular meals which are:
- Whole wheat macaroni and cheesy garlic sauce with pureed fresh mixed vegetables, squash, red lentils, and (optional) tofu.
- Steamed rice with quinoia, green lentils and cheesy garlic sauce; (optional) tofu.
- Whole wheat or vegetable Rotini with tomato sauce, pureed fresh mixed vegetables and red lentils, and (optional) tofu.
- Pizza made with whole wheat tortillas (may contain flax), cheese, fresh pizza sauce made with pureed red lentil, quinoia, organic tomato sauce, and spices.
Snacks: All snacks include fresh fruit and milk.
The snacks we serve consist of food items such as pyrogies, quesadillas, cheese & crackers, yogurt, assorted veggies & fresh (made on site) ranch dip, (lunch #4) pizza, and a variety of sandwiches.
